(NYSE: AOL) announced today the release of Winamp for Android 1.2, an enhanced version of the #1 free third-party music management application that now includes Mac support (launching in beta).* Winamp for Android player app also features one-click iTunes library import, free wireless syncing between desktop and phone, free on-demand streaming of popular album releases, free daily mp3 music downloads, and free access to more than 47,000 SHOUTcast internet radio stations. In addition to upgrading its free app, Winamp is launching an in-app upgrade to Winamp Pro, a premium paid package with enriched features including, a customizable home screen, browse-by-folder navigation and a programmable 10-band equalizer.
