Browser woes

Post by unfaithfulsfan »

Is it just me or has Chrome just started more and more to suck? I got tired of FF constantly telling me to upgrade. Seemed like every time I sat down at my desk, I got yet another upgrade alert. Turning upgrade notifications didn't work so I switched to Chrome. Now, 90% of pages stall or otherwise time out. :finga: It's really bad when IE works better than Google's browser! :lame:

I tried Opera for about 5 minutes a year or so ago. Just wasn't crazy about it. I don't know where to turn now! Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jack

Have been using Chrome since first versions and haven't looked back.

Another vote for Chrome here. Been using it for about two years now, seems stable and pretty fast to me.

I agree about Chrome. I thought it was ok in the beginning but now it is just annoying how I cant do half the things i can in Firefox.

Firefox is annoying cause it is constantly crashing or just slows down for the hell of it.

I still use FF, even though most people are trying to get me to go back to chrome cause it is sooooo good, but some sites I have to use IE on because FF doesnt support them.

Oh well, what can ya do. Maybe i will try chrome again...maybe

Hmmmm. Maybe it's my Windows installation? I've been wondering whether to re-install Windows 7, maybe it's time. Holy crap! My vision is pretty awesome without glasses. Good thing I go to the optometrist tomorrow! (FYI, don't know what happened to me but the last day I remember is Friday, 2/10/2012. I slept through "Soup on Sunday"! That means there are no pics for the web site. damn  )

If you're running 64-bit Windows try Waterfox.
