Asus P8H61m-LE

I have a Asus P8Hm-LE motherboard and viewsonic LED VX2753MH-LED,my led have only HDMI ports and 1 VGA and motherboard has DVI and VGA,so i m trying to use DVI to HDMI cable,DVI side on mobo and HDMI on LED,but my LED is not showing display on 1080p on this cable,When i was using it on HDMI to HDMi on my GPU its perfect,but card is sold due to that m using onboard graphics,it showing display at any other low resolution but on 1080p my LED goes to sleep mod but on VGA its perfect,i mean by using VGA to VGA it showing display.
So two ques in my mind:
1-My mobo has any problem or my LED?
2-Is there any picture quality or color difference between DVI and VGA?

Hello and welcome to the forums.

1) Could be a problem with the DVI to HDMI adapter.
2) I've never noticed a difference. I also like the fact with RGB the monitor will self adjust itself.
