AnythingIT Applauds the United States' Role As a Leader in E-Waste Management

Fair Lawn, NJ - (May 8, 2012) – AnythingIT Inc., (OTCBB: ANYI), a leading information technology end of life recycler and E-Waste handler serving both government and commercial markets, today announced that it believes the growing trend in the United States to recycle electronic waste (e-waste) will continue, improving the nation's overall ecological move towards global leadership in e-waste handling.



As the world continues implementing better recycling requirements for e-waste, the United States has taken a global leadership role in showing that a public-private partnership can accelerate the acceptance and pace of electronics recycling. Two factors work together to make this leadership possible: governmental policies towards proper e-waste handling and corporate moves towards better asset tracking and disposal.
