NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Video Card Review w/ MSI and EVGA

This morning NVIDIA released the new Geforce GTX 650 Ti video card. The Geforce GTX 650 Ti is theentry point to the GeForce GTX family of high-performance graphics cards. Like the GeForce GTX 650, the GeForce GTX 650 Ti was designed for gaming at the most common gaming resolution of 1920x1080. Read on to see how this $150 graphics card performs when put to the test!

When it comes to performance the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti had just enough horsepower to get over 30 FPS at 1920x1080 and played the game titles smoothly. The EVGA GeForce GTX 650 ti Superclocked and MSI N650Ti Power Edition were both factory overclocked and were great examples of some retail cards that you can get for $10 more than the suggested retail price.

Nice little card, I particularly like the size for compatibility with a wide range of cases. That Assassins Creed game bundle makes this a really sweet deal for only $150.

I wonder if a board with AMD integrated video would have a problem using NVIDIA cards? Do you have to completely uninstall Cat Drivers to use an NVIDIA card on an AMD-based IGP board effectively?
I have come to the conclusion that "FaceBook" should be renamed "FacePalm"

Nope, you just disable the integrated graphics in the BIOS and run the discrete card with the NVIDIA GeForce driver. No big deal and I've never had a software issue. I built up a few AMD Llano and Trinity systems recently that used NVIDIA cards in them without any issues.

1 problem though : It's a Nvidia. :|
Though it looks good after they finally patched the hole plying the 7850 game  But looking at the BF3 benchmark i always remembered Nvidia cards always had a lead there so no surprises there.
I have not been very impressed with the 78xx but i have been with the recent developments on the firmware side of the 79xx, it made them a heck lot better to say the least but hey, i'm waiting on Sea Islands next year
AMD is keeping up their game with Piledriver so i suspect Sea Islands might be a kickass but it's too early to say anything
