ATI Crossfire and an Nvidia Physx card?

Post by Tim Burton »

I'm helping to build a gaming computer with a friend. They'd like to get 2 7970's and then put a Physx card in there. Is this possible? If so, what card do you recommend for Physx?

Seems like it's not possible. But then again I'd see what others say. If you are going to try it I would try this way.
1) Install AMD cards
2) Install PhysX software
3) Install nVidia card
4) Run Windows Update to get the card drivers

just go with SLI so physx is included if that functionality is really desired, its not like a major sacrifice going with Nvidia instead of AMD, especially at the cost range you are already at
