capper, i would but unfortenatly we have moved from 9am to 6pm, 5 days a week to 9am to 10pm 6 days a week thru mid december. so i unfortenatly dotn really have time to get anywhere. Ill see what i an do sunday.

Man, sounds like a fun job....do you have to do any of the coding, or is it just graphical testing?

HAHA, Yea barbis fashion designer 2 was totally HOT.

No, im working on Star Wars: Empire at War. Hence my plug for the new trailer in the games section. I actually test everything there is to test, and i have made a few Multiplayer maps, and Single Player maps for the game.

Testing sounds like a great job, and it is alot of fun, but the amount of time you spend doing the same thing over and over just gettings annoying. Seriously, if you cant take a joke, cant stand it when a program doesnt work, or dont have much of an attention span. Testing just isnt for you then. Me, i want to move into design, and i am trying to use this to get my name on some games, so i can approach more game companies and show them the work i have done, then move forward.

One perk, i get to play alot of different games, and get paid for it. When a new game comes out, i am one of the people that get it, but i have to write reports on what they are doing that is new and fun.

BTW, we dont get paid very well. Long hours, tons of free soda, a ping pong table, paid dinner, and headaches from looking that the monitor to long are plentiful, but the hourly wage sucks.

no, really though, that would be an excellent job to have if it were offered online by a major game programming company and could do it in my spare time...that would kick so much ass

That called beta testing. Unfortenatly you dont get paid for beta testing, but it is fun. I personnaly have beta tested Americas Army thru 2.4, planetside, matrix online, Lineage 2, Earth and Beyond, City of Villians. I am hoping to get in the Pirates of the Burning Sea beta, which valve is making.

Now if Legit started a video game review site, i would jump up and down to get the reviewers position.

lol, you would be most qualified!!! personally, I liked Planetside when it came out. It was one of the most beautiful games of its time IMO, and it played really well. It just sounds like a pimp job, lol.
