nice review and shows (just like in the Kingston test) the best bang for the buck seems to be the 2666Mhz kit. Anything above that is a waist of money. At this speed you still have the benefit of lower voltage, tighter timings and it seems the performance above that is too small if any to justify spending any more money.

Nice review. Just wondering how you removed the heat spreaders?? More specifically how did you remove the side with no memory chips on it?? I have removed the side with the chips easily with a little heat from a heatgun. But the other side is not coming off easily, not even with heat. What the heck did you do???

I cheated... I got a kit so early that the new heat spreaders weren't even made. G.Skill later sent me the heat spreaders to include for the reviewRescueRanger wrote:Nice review.
