AMD launched this week what is likely their last desktop graphics card of 2015, the AMD Radeon R9 380X. AMD is hopeful that this card at the $229 price point (£185 inc. VAT for our readers in the UK) will be just what gamers will be looking to purchase this winter now that most of the big name games have come out for the holiday gaming season. Pretty nice....Would be a whole lot better if it undercut the 960 price point :mrgreen:

This card seems nice but more power and close to the same framerates of the 960 means (in my mind - it gets empty in here so take it with a grain of salt) it should end up being cheaper in order to get people to see AMD again for a price/performance leader. I still say that is the number one problem with AMD, they stopped undercutting everyones prices and are trying to be equal. Still a decent card, especially if you can snag one for under $200.
