Hello.
Every time I tried to open, the .rar file is downloaded from a folder on your computer WinRAR says: "CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt"
I used the function of internal restoration in WinRAR, but my .rar archive hasn’t recovered.
What to do?
Thank you in advance!
rar archive
Re: rar archive
if it is corrupt every time from the same source then try a different source for the file.
If winrar will not fix the file then the file is unfixable and has to be re-downloaded.
Now if you still want to try and extract, open the RAR then Extract To then check the box to keep broken files and see if that will allow you to get them out of the archive.

Try this:
Open the file in WinRAR (download from internet if you don't have one).
Press your right mouse-button.
Click on "Repair archive", or press Alt+R.
Click on Browse button and select a folder where you want to keep the repaired archive.
There will be two options ("Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and "Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP").
Select any one of your choice (or see which one will work) and click on OK button.
Go to the folder where you have kept the repaired archive and open it (Repaired archive will be named as rebuilt.*.rar or rebuilt.*.zip, where * is the name of original archive).
