Of course they are RGB and can be dimmed!
The lights on the porch and the eve are on separate controllers.

Nice. Are they just on the rain gutters? I wanted to do something like that in our sunroom with using clear PVC pipe for curtain rods but the heat would not be good in the enclosed area of the pipe

They are weather proof LED strips!
They're encased in a silicon rubber material with double sided tape.(useless double sided tape)
I attached them to the soffit using small hold downs!

Thanx for the link!

So instead of inside, I could put them outside the sunroom.....no outlet on that side of the house except IN the sunroom though....hmmmm

Brain is working....

Yeah that could be a problem!

I had a friend come over and spend about 5 or 6hrs setting all this up!
He tied into the original porch light which also had a switch for a ceiling fan.
So I have 3 switches inside the door, one for the porch light, one for the LEDs
and one so I can turn the motion spotlight off and on!
We also put in access panels in. One on the porch to access most of the wiring
and a hole with a grommet for the infrared dongle to come through.
Thats both on the porch and under the overhang! He did a great job!

This is the first of a few Patio upgrades!
I have a Gazebo type thing I'm working on now and some new furniture!
Kinda lookin' like we'll be living on the patio this year! :partyman:

Loving the setup including the led strips. Was thinking of doing the same to our little garden seating area at the back end of my garden. I am in the process of completing slowly. Basically ripping up the entire garden in time for the summer (pushing it I know ) however our council said no to us putting up a lean/overhang as it's only allowed at the rear porch connected to the house so as not to disturb the neighbours. So that's a no to LED strips :(

Jealous of what you have done now. Could you post some larger pics as they are too small to view fully :)

I had them at full brightness for the pic!
I think the lights turned out great!
So far everyone who's seen them think so too!
Pretty sure this will be a must have for several people I know! :)
