Let's beat Covid-19.

So many people have been going so far in my family and friends as to not even go as far as a simple text to see how we all are. So I took it upon myself to contact all my family and friends and to see how they all are (this took a 3 days as I know so many people) Now lets see how many of them would call and ask the same thing. I was blown away by how many suddenly came out the woodwork so to speak. It really was nice to see how many people truly care about you when a simple call of kindness comes their way.

So maybe I should try that on this forum. So lets ask a simple question and get the talkative flow moving to help keep us all sane. How is everyone during this outbreak?

Doing just fine here! Well, besides the wife being home ALL the time! Working from home!
J/K... so far everyone I know has been making do!
I go visit my mom at least once a week and enjoy the fact there's not much traffic!
Miss going out to eat though!

Good here. Wife is manager of optical at wally world so she still has to work and my step-daughter works at an assisted living place so she does too but none of us got it yet. I don't know anyone around me that has. I have been using my 3d printer to make some ear strain relief pieces for them to help with boredom. If only the weather would get nicer around here!!!!! Rain, rain and more rain then cold then more rain lol

The reduced traffic is nice and evening walks are also great when the weather is nice. Admit it would be nice to go out to eat at some point, even a mcdonalds for the sake of the kids as they are driving me nuts

Lets hope the your wife and step daughter are safe being at work still. That's a good use of your time with the 3d printing ear strain relief. Keeps you busy to a point lol. Sun is shining here and around 18c during the day in my home town but still rather cold at 5c during the evening.

Wow, I feel for your step daughter! Thats a hard job and can be dangerous!
I live in the StL area, one of the early and high number assisted living facilities(in the area)
is about 1mi. from my house!
At last count 63 residents and 12 employees have tested positive
and 15 residents have passed from complications of Covid-19

Well, its been a few months since we all checked in!

So, its been a unique few months!
The wife went back to work and 3 days later she came back home!
The CEO of the Company she works for tested Covid Positive and got sick, so he didnt come back! Yet! He is fine!
She's going crazy staying home and talking about going back next week but, I doubt it! Maybe a couple more weeks!

Everything is open here but on a very limited basis! I have been "Out to Eat" 3 or 4 times!
Felt a little daring!

Dr. visits over DUO is a new experience for me!
My Dr. commended me for being close to 60 and handling the technology without issue! I laughed!
Apparently he has no idea who I am!

I hope everyone here have been handling this "New Normal" without issue!

Glad everything is going ok! Most things are open here but with all the crazy people out there thinking they can shoot or stab people if they have to wear a mask, we stay home most of the time!

My pain doctor has no idea how to do the video stuff, he just did regular phone calls

I hope they figure something out soon like a flu shot or vaccine or anything really, just so stuff gets back to being normal. I hate wearing a mask

pretty much the same here as you camaroguy. open but limited for the most part. you can go see your doctor over here though so i guess that ok but a mask must been warn in all shops and shopping centres.
