OUCH! My phone always backs stuff up to google. Not sure if it does all the photos or not but I have a real camera for stuff we want to keep anyway. All of those photos go to the computer and get backed up to the NAS :supz:

If you had your photos on an sdcard you could try a recovery program to get at least some of them back.

This is finished (for now). Not happy with cable routing on this build. The pci-e cables were the hardest part to route as you can probably see. i hope in the near future to tidy the cables up a bit more but for now it will do.

Your setup looks great! With that many cables its Hard to hide them all!
For your PCI-e cables consider sleeved aftermarket ones!
They always look good and you can get them in a wide variety of colors or just black!

Looks nice to me! Sleeving some cables is about all you can do as there are no back connectors on boards to efficiently hide everything.

You should put a fake fish in the reservoir

I have sleeve cables for my eps and pci-e. The corsair ones i have for my pci-e are awful as you can see from the pics. even with the cable combs they look a mess. will be sorting them out soon and may go back to black ones that came with the psu :)

I used the Black cables that came with my Corsair PSU and I am happy with them!
They basically blended in pretty good with everything being Black and White in my setup!

The idea of connectors on the Mobo back should be a Patent consideration! :)

I honestly never understood why they don't do this for motherboards. I think all the cases now a days have a compartment to hide cables in but you still have to loop them from the front. Maybe Apoptosis will see this and be able to ask some of the manufacturers for a reason why they don't do it.

I do not get it either, its not like its something new!
Even if they just put all the external connectors on the backside, that would be step in the right direction!

With that said, I do see how it is probably cost effective to leave things as they are...
and from an engineering aspect probably would be a PITA!
With connectors on the backside of the Mobo, would also cause a total redesign of cases!
I still think it would be a step in the right direction!

They could always use angled connector blocks to keep the board design the same but have a nice fluid transition from the connector on the front to the back. That would allow the MB to keep the same design. It would drive up costs though so they would have to either sell the pack of connectors separate or increase the cost of the MB to compensate because no company in the world will say, oh I don't need a billion dollars profit, i can be happy with 900 million. afraid no cloud saving was done. i have sorted all the cable routing out today and will post a pic up once my new phone arrives tomorrow as my old one died. yes the same one that i lost all data on. turns out for no reason it was dying. the new android 11 killed my phone. huawei and google wont compensate for the damage that has been done. lost a £600 phone thanks to this update :(
