Ya, i was worried cause i cleaned it then i just loaded the program that i got off the website...and that didnt work. then i cleaned everything off again, and started with everything from the CD then the new version from the website. works great now though! I am happy

DAMN IT!!! it just stopped working agian!! i havent updated anything. I can see it running in the task list but i cant access it. the icon doesnt appear in the task bar!! AAARGHHH! got any ideas?

hmmmm.....now that is strange. Are you sure something you've recently installed isn't conflicting with the remote software? Then again, you might need to wipe the drive, but like I said that should be a last resort. Otherwise, I am not sure what this is all about, lol
well, i resently did a fresh install of everything. (over thanks giving) I used the ati clean thing, wiped the drivers off, installed the new drivers, installed teh remote program from file i downloaded from website. it works...untill i restarted...then it doesnt work anymore. I can see it running in the processes list (when hitting crl atl delete) I end it, and restate the prgram but still dosnt work

does the AIW 9600XT require an attachment to the IrDA header on the mobo? If so, it could be a problem with that header.....would recommend a chipset driver reinstall too if that's the case. Elsewise, could just be the damn card, lol
