Want to enhance your audio experience while gaming, watching movies, or just listening to music? The Buttkicker Gamer provides a vibration to your office chair in sync with the low frequency sounds. So you will be able to feel the bass while fragging, watching your favorite action scene, or listening to your song of choice! Check out this article to find out what we thought of the Buttkicker Gamer.

The Buttkicker Gamer provided a completely new feature to the games, movies, and music on my computer. Most of us are already able to watch and listen to the games and movies we interact with, but the Buttkicker Gamer activates a third sense: the ability to feel what we are watching. For me, this took my gaming experience to the next level and made some of the games I've already played 'new' again.

Now thats a cool product, if they could only bring down the cost to ~$50 this thing would fly off the shelves.

yeah I played Quake 4 with it and actually liked it even though i thought it was silly going into it. I agree that the price needs to drop, but for the user experience it is nearly worth the $110 price tag. Put on a good first person shooter with the lights out and the 6.1 surround sound on and the buttkicker gamer puts you over the edge. Nothing like feeling the nade blow up behind you in a game.

dude, i can total see the value, yeah it seems dumb and kinda funky looking but its like straping a subwoofer to you seat with out the cone on it, you will notice. I think i would be willing to pay up to 75$ maybe... but to really sell it to me they need a lower end version at $50. I just cant justify spending $110 on somthing like that.

I dunno, it's cool, but I don't think I would pay more than $40 for it. I agree it would help to add a lot of realism and immersion into the game, but it just doesn't seem worth the money or the effort. But then again, I haven't had the pleasure of trying a gadget like this!

A very unique product indeed. Don't get me wrong though, I would still love to get my hands on something like that to actually "feel" what it is like to get blown up by a granade or get blasted with a powerful magic spell, or get shot by a shotgun point blank!

Dunno what to say......
@ first glance i thought it was a joke....
The more I think about it, the better it sounds (excuse the pun)

the price is way to high, they should market it as $99.99 because it's a new product, but then price should drop quickly to ~$75 and then even down to ~$50.....

It's good to see Justin writing again....LOL

Thanks! It has been a while, but I'm ready to get back to it. We have some more backend changes that I'll be working on, but I miss writing reviews. So I'm tring to fit in some of those, too!

BTW, it was great testing this... I was forced to make time to play Quake 4! :) ("No honey, I can't do the dishes right now, I'm busy testing the Buttkicker!")
