Who In Here Plays Magic: The Gathering?
Just curious about this, and I know I am an uber-geek, but hell I love it, lol.....MTG is the shiz IMO......Got my hands on some Ravnica stuff, and this card set is made for people who love Green/White decks

oh it kicks major arse now, lol.......lot of new abilities, Enchantments, Artifacts, the works....you should check out the Mirrodin series first though, as that has the best stuff I've seen in quite awhile.......then go with Ravnica.....I would stick with Mirrodin or even something as old as Onslaught if you want to go with Red/White, Blue/Black, or something else like Red/Green/Black. We're up to 9th Edition cards now, so it's something to look into definitely, not to mention some of the cards that come in the booster packs are worth some money, so if you still have some older stuff (1st or 2nd edition, maybe 4th ed. at the latest), you can get a pricing guide and find out what the cards are worth......man only if I had more friends in my area who played, I would be straight, lol.

You still have em? If so I would be looking through some guides, lol.....if I lived out in L.A. I would play with ya, lol......I miss playing, so for now I'm laying low, staying up to date on the newest cards and collecting them.....the sad part is since my buddy grabbed my earlier cards without a word, I'm having to restart my collection with Ravnica, and I'll have to work my way backwards, so I think I'll grab a Ravnica fat pack and some Mirrodin stuff.

Oooh, what luck have I, woo hoo
ok, so I was going down to a local comic book/trading card game store to get a MTG Fat Pack (Which has that card set's card catalog, some booster packs, a theme deck [or two, can't remember], all in a nifty tin for $30), only to find they were dry out of them because of Wizard's cutting them from print not too long ago.....ok, so I was only going to pick up a Mirrodin Theme Deck when this guy was eyeing this 36 booster-pack box which retails for $130, but the guys running the store were going to sell it for $90 since they had a few (this was from Ravnica btw, the newest card set).....well, I was looking at it too and thought $90 was wayyyyy too high, so the dude came up to me and asked me to go in halfers with him......needless to say I jumped all over it because I wanted some cards damnit, lol......ok, so I get 18 boosters and he gets 18. I get them home and start to look through them, to find something that is kinda hard to find, and may be worth money: a Foiled Rare card
!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the other 7 Foils I found throughout the booster packs, and the usual bevy of rare cards (1 per booster) and uncommons and so on.....going to find an online pricing catalog to find out what it's worth, because if it's worth anything, I'm gonna find someone who wants it, and get rid of it if it's worth a good deal!! Oh man, talk about Christmas benevolence and luck
......not too bad for $45 for close to 300 cards eh?
And as for the "Christmas Cheer", heheh, I got some for sure!!!! Rumple Minze, Godive White, and Bailey's Irish Cream, not to mention some Starbucks Espresso Roast coffee, all of which will be used in my dastardly, drunken scheme in a few hours when South Park comes on Comedy Central at 10pm EST. Just thought I would drop the good news to all the MTG fans and players out there

Especially if you consume wayyyy too much of it.....never had problems with schnapps, but have had problems with Peruvian Rum before......Cabo Blanco to be exact....cheap rum, but will get you messed up really quick, and leave you with one hell of a hangover.......just awful.
