Spy pics of early prototype of Dodge Challenger!!!!
Holy crap I really like the way the prototype Dodge Challenger looks... please let it have 500+ HP!!! They most definitely went retro with the design, but I like that it also has a modern, more rounded look along with it. I can't wait to see more pictures of this thing, and better yet, to finally see one in person. This thing is going to be one HOT car!

I saw this about a month ago and people are speculating it's fake, but I haven't heard more since then. Here are some better pics:

It's gonna be sick if it comes to life! I highly doubt it'll have all the toys of the prototype, as it's extremely rare for a production car to be like the proto.

Holy s**t!!!! Yeah I would kill to grab one of those if they leave it like that!! Uber uber nice.....was very fond of the older models.....and yes I would looooooooooooooooove to see this one have 500+ under the hood, wouldn't buy it any other way as the original Challengers had an assload of horses under the hood, not to mention it was IMO the ultimate booty car, right beside the Chevelle SS with its 454 splendor!! My stepdad knows a guy who has a nice little shed full of restored classics....the '69 Chevelle SS (2 of em!!), a 25th anniversary 'Vette, and some others, but he really had his pride and joy: a late 80's Jag (think it was an XK series).....very sweet car! man I would pay to lick the paint on that Challenger, rofl

ever got a chance to race one with the Daytona package? I believe it could wipe the floor with your ACR Neon, but of course that's the top of the stack on that car.....ya those little 4 bangers are starting to piss me off, along with the "kids" who are driving them
heheh, gotcha....wouldn't pick on ya if I didn't like ya
yeah, I need to see that fire that is known to come from the V-8's...maybe Challenger will light that mutha up!!
Still wouldn't mind getting my hands on my stepdad's buddy's '69 Chevelle with the 454.......ohhhhh sweet candy, naaaaaaaaaaaa

Then they did something very, very wrong to that car.....the old Chargers were the shiz, and that's all there is to it......what auto manufacturers will do just to sell a car I tell you. Let's just hope the Challenger will do what Charger couldn'tApoptosis wrote:Not even close. LS7 right Nate? That frickin Vette is a monster for sure!! Just wait.....after I get my CCNA (praying for a miracle there, lol) and I get an excellent job, I really want to get one, because I sat in one and the fit is spectacular! Fits me like a glove, and I'm a fairly big guy!! It gave me an ego complex for the 5 minutes I sat in it, and the salespeople had to pry me out because I didn't want to move (no, I'm not that fat, a**hole, rofl).....Decent price for it as well, if you have the change to back it

an old guy at my work has a Z06, nice car one day in july it was like a 102 in the shade he lit it up in the parking lot and ripped up the black top! think they are still taking $ out of his check from having the lot redone..
but on the challenger, stopped to look a mini van to replace the wifes car and asked the sales guy about it. its planed for '07 the hot rod version will be released and in '08 the v6 and small v8 will be released.

I'm more of a Mustang guy myself but that is one sweet looking ride! I've had 3 Mustangs in my life and the last one I had to sell when I found out my wife was going to have twin girls. Now I have a Focus. I never thought I would own a 4 cylinder but the car is quick and handels great. I bought it used and I'm not sure what the previous owner did except custom exhaust and new rims. I rode with Nates in his Neon and my car isn't that quick but it's still a fun car. A guy I work with got one and a month later a car rear ended him and messed it up pretty bad. Thought he was going to cry telling me about it.

Holy crap... I'm ready to sell the SRT-4 and buy one of those right now... Although I don't like the way the seats are looking reminds me of the 80's bucket seats found in the mustangs.
