I have both PC's going now so that should help. If I could get 2 instances to run on each we'd really be kicking ass
nice goin' joe. do you have hyper threading or double core? if yes you can do it. have another instance in a different folder and assign a different number to it. I have one running as a service and a second one as a graphical interface and now my CPU runs 100%. my ppd went up at least by 1/3

I have 2 dual core PC's running - @ 2655 and one @ 2835. I tried to get 2 instances to work and never could (It's in this thread somewhere) and I got tired of mucking with it.
too bad - with dual cores you could actually double your PPD
what are you running right now? console or the graphical client? I run both and even with HT I got about 1/3 boost - with double cores double performance is easy.
if you give us details we can help you set up the 2 instnces. (I had the same problem at the beginning so now I have experience in solving it )
BTW, gongrats to novicegamer and gnome - they both passed the 200,000point mark. WOOOOHOOOO

I didnt think I would get close to 15,000 points, but...I just might be able to..gonna be close I think. I started the 16th of Dec, so I figured the 16th of jan is it for me...I need a program that keeps track of my average work units/points per day/week/month/year ( long haul!!! )

well, my rig is running a 2 instances of folding (1 service and 1 graphical console) and today I put 1-1 instance's running as a service on 2 of my friends computer's with his permission. his rigs are not on allways but it still should make a difference. also I will have 1 more rig soon (my ex-wife's 3.2 prescott). also as soon as I get back home from my trip, I will be putting together my second rig (with the pentium M 760 - courtesy of LR), so there will be yet another rig crunching WU's soon - WOOOHOOO
yo joe, watching your progress - nice job
yo, knightrid - with this pace you should be in the first 10 soon
