Battlefield 2 patch - finally came out

From what I've heard if you go to widescreengaming.com there is some sort of trick you can use to get BF2 to run in widescreen resolutions. Also, if you are having poor preformance and running a Dual Core processor (like an AMD processor) a suggestion would be to set the affinity of the processor to CPU 0. Many people noticed an increase in preformance after doing this.

I saw this elsewhere, not sure if it works...
Go to Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Settings and open up VideoDefault.con with notepad. Change renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0 to renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1

Save changes and exit.

ya, i have done that stuff to make it widescreen res...but i want the game to naturallly have wide screen options.
