would you do the same?

Post by hainer36 »

so my parents are gone on vacation for 2 weeks, so that means the nice 51" Panasonic LCD Projection TV we got a few months ago, has been turned into my computer monitor

it is at 780i (1080p has 30hz refresh so thats out) im using the vga cable from vid card to tv, so thats probably why i cant utilize all of the HD quality

I did that to my HDTV a few times too, but switched back to my pc monitor since the image is still sharper there, plus my HDTV only supports 1024x768 and I can't work on anything less than 1280x1024.

I have a 61" Samsung DLP Widescreen HDTV.
It's does 1280x720 resolution with my PC in Windows but max resolution on it is 1600x1080.
Games like Farcry and Half Life 2 look absolutly amazing on it.
I'd highly recommend it if you're considering purchasing a wide screen HDTV.

Wish I could do that for one day, you're lucky. My TV is older than me. Parents bought it three months before I was born.
