DDR2 eh... well i dont think u can get any AMD system then cause curentley they ALL use DDRI-400
Only Intel LGA775 use DDR-II and im guessing thats what you have right now?

if ur video card is PCie then it shouldnt be a problem cause all new AMD mobos are PCIe!

I say wait for a while, at least a month or two and see how everything settles down...

Well, Conroe is pretty amazing, at the time of its launch I'm sure it will be the best CPU around. Plus the only thing (that I'm aware of) that AMD is launching to counter Conroe is the new Turion, which is a mobile CPU anyway. If I was building a system, I'd go with Conroe, but you got to remember that it's only coming out in late summer, are you willing to wait that long?

The only choice is X2 right now, if you dont mind waiting then Conroe may give you a compeating real choice.
