Microsoft Windows Vista Delayed 3 months

Post by Apoptosis »

I just got off the phone with a very trusted source who informed me that Microsoft Vista was delayed 3 more months today. This means the OS won't be launched till Jan 2007 at best.

A story can be found on CNET already here

It has been delayed a few years already, what's three more months? :P If they delay it any more, they're going to have to rename it again!

Not surprised .... plus , most companies are far behind just on creating x64 drivers for thier hardware now , that alone would be enough cause for a delay of the "offical" 64bit OS .

I am not surprised since it has been delayed already. No biggie though as I won't be jumping the gun and getting it.

I'm not worried if it takes another full year for Vista (Longhorn) to roll out. Within the last year, I upgraded to Windows XP Pro from Win98SE.

There's no hurry here what so ever.
