naw, i think i am dyslexic or something when it comes to shooting games and consoles. i just cant do it. I need a mouse and key board for shooting. I can pretty much only play sports types games on consoles.

No, my point was those games support wide screen resolutions because they're jointly written to support both the PC and the X-Box 360's HDTV requirements. ie 16:9 screens. Given most laptops are going that way and many desktop monitors I can see most newer games supporting widescreen.

Well, 1.3 patch is out. People on the boards are calling for EA's collective heads to burrow themselves out of their collective rears and fix the glaring issues that are still present like...

Red/Blue
In Game Server Browser
Balance issues with play

Etc etc.

many servers are not patching due to major crashing issues...freakin idiots at EA. I guess they dont know what the word testing means. many people arent patching. my clan has a server that we havent patched yet, its been full all morning... http://www.game-monitor.com/GameServer/ ... ers_1.html

Whew! Glad that's the game doing that. Thought it was my puter for a minute. 50C is hot I know but shouldn't cause random crashes.

Community Update - 5/25/06

Attention Soldiers and Server Admins!

After a thorough investigation into the issues plaguing the server browser after the 1.3 Update, we believe that a last minute update in the way the Battlefield servers and Gamespy servers communicate may be the cause.

We have decided to revert this change in an attempt eliminate these browser issues. Please note that no uninstalling or re-installing is required by players or server admins. All servers currently running must be restarted once this change has taken place.

Please also note that if you are experiencing CTD issues upon start up that any alternate-ranking redirections in your windows "Hosts" file must be removed.

The reversion will occur at 2:00 PST. We are continuing to review other issues players have noted with 1.3. Further updates will be posted to this space as they become available."

I was told voltage letting was most benefitial. They said letting out about 150 Volts has the best results.

OMG I A REALLY HATE EA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again i will have to reinstall the F******************* GAME!!!!

Now BF2 wont load at all!

The first time i tried to run the Patch it crashed my computer.

I am really hating this ****! PARDON MY FRENCH, but this is really irrating
