Today's Storm Front In Missouri

I was doing e-mails when I looked out side and saw this coming right for my house...

All was calm, but as soon as the line got this close the wind gust came and was strong!

i saw that on the way back to missouri from maryland... there were storms the whole way through. i wished i had a camera to take a picture...

looks pretty damn sweet, doesn't it?

that is called a shelf cloud and as you can see clearly marks the leading gust front of a storm.

you have no idea how bad i want to see one is real life!!! LOL

wow dude that is a huge storm! It was raining here in wisconsin too, but i don't think it was nearly as bad as that storm 8)

We never get anything like taht in the UK, the best we get is black rain-storm clouds (which is quite often actually) :P

i actually live like what would u say nate. 30 miles? maybe less. anyways i live pretty clsoe to nate. i got the storm too. it wasnt the worst we've had.

They rolled through here as well (south of Nate), but really wasn't all that bad really, but it sure looked impressive before it started.

Yeah, I left the office early yesterday to stop by one of our remote locations so I could check on a malfunctioning KVM switch. As I got there (St. Charles) I could see that thing rolling in overhead.

Talk about scary looking.....
