just wanted to say this site rules
is it just me...or is it that this site actually has and uses their knowledge of computers?...i mean ive gone to other forums to see other subjects on some things i could learn on...holy f*** have i learned more here lol...other places just actually piss me off on either their incompetency or the fact that "they are right no matter what" type attitude...sorry to flame other forums but damn...i had to at least give credit to this forum for actually havin me LEARN somethin..

I agree. I need to give mad props to Ken, Bio-Hazard, and Penguin for thier help with my water cooling project (which hasn't come to fuition yet) as well as Dan and Apop for thier advice on GPU's and PSU's.
This site tends to be less BS about things people have "seen on the web" and more about "here's what I've done, and why it works". Most sites I've visted people talk about the theories and vaporware. Here people tend to focus on proven gear and realistic products.
The two things I like the most about this forum are the reviewers ability to respond to questions and the sense of community here. If I ask Apop a question about a board I can be fairly certain that he'll respond if only to tell me he doesn't know. Same thing of everyone else here. I've only asked one question which no one responded to and I just assumed it was because no one knew.
Our little community here is kinda small, but that's what makes it good. We've managed to avoid attracting any idiots thus far.
Like the man said, "... straight up and on the money."

Amen Brother(s)!
Both great posts, and why I love this site so much. It's great to think that I can help others just as others can help me on stuff im not so good with.
I was reading on the TH forumz, and some kid had signed up just to insult the other members, I find it hard to believe how much other people on the web only havev their view and just wont listen to what others have to say.
Dan
BTW. AMD suckz and Intel FTW!!11!!1 (lol, j/k)
