I bet Nate's house is fine. He's out of town right now though...
I live about 9 miles west of him and I didn't get anything but a little wind... Not a drop of rain. The nasty part went just east of me, so I imagine Nate got his trash can tipped over and maybe his lawn watered... but that's about it for where we are located.
My parents had a few roof shingles torn up which caused a leak, but they never lost power... luckily. They do live closer to the city where the bad stuff hit.
Where Amy works (a horse ranch), they did loose power and still don't have it back yet. They have to turn on a gas generator just to power the well pump to water the horses! I feel sorry for everyone in the area who lives on property with a well... especially yesterday... bad enough not having air conditioning on a 110 F degree day, but to have no water is even worse!
