LEGO Trebuchet
Pretty cool, if you're into (or even mildly interested in) Lego engineering.

I built a trebuchet one weekend. I got bored so I went to home depot and got some wood screws, rope, and some 2x4's and went at it! I used a cement bucket filled with mud as the weight and I was able to launch a baseball over 100 yards it was cool until I over loaded the thing with weight and it tore itself apart when I launched it. the frame work was about 5 feet tall and the throwing arm was two 8 foot 2x4's screwed together to keep it from warping when it fired. I miss my trebuchet
