uh oh what did I do?

so I was messing around in my old computer.. with the IDE cables, hdd and od. I unplugged them and was messing around with it trying to see if i could install a dvd burner and when I put them back in.. it doesn't show that there is a hdd or od.. (I put the original one back in too)

what'd I do?? ahh!

make sure you didn't pull a cable loose from the motherboad and then check the drives to see if you bent a pin.

also check the power cables to the drives.

do what they all said. re check ALL the cables. that means even the ones that you didnt touch. you didnt intend to touch it, but you might have bumped it.

My dad always said this when i was working on my car (relates to about everything) - "You drove it into the garage fine, YOU must have done something to it to make it not work."
