its called Capoeira. Anyone whose played Tekken 3 will recognize it as Eddy Gordo's fighting style. They actually mocapped a Capoeira master for the game.

well mine was 6-8inches (I'm only 5'4" and I play basketball) before I dislocated my ankle.

got to watch the movie "only the strong." I love that movie. kinda old, semi cheesy. good fighting though.

Thats how Capoeira got started, Martial Arts was forbiddin in the country for a long time to keep the rebels at bay, so they turned it into a dance so they could still practice it. When used for fighting by someone who is trained it is one of the deadliest Martial Arts to this day.

I have never studied it, but I got a friend who is fluent in it, I myself have studied Tae Kwon Do (1st degree black belt), Karate (1st degree black belt), Kempo(1st degree black belt), Shotokan (Hard Style) (2st degree black belt), and ShanjankinRo (Samari Sword Fighting).
