'15 minutes' of LR time

Post by DMB2000uk »

Hey guys,

I wanna read all the posts but am going to try and restrain myself.

So this week i've (mostly) avoided LR (read the reviews though, good stuff as ever). Though my internet time hasnt gone down a huge amount :( . I'm working on it though. I'm going to buy a light box to help me with my SAD.

Thanks for all the warm wishes guys. Made warm an fuzzy inside.

On a side note, a friend of mines computer was dieing and she didnt even know!

Yeah, ALL those fins are clogged right up with dust. Its a celeron 2.8Ghz, and it was just playing music and the temp was at 88/90oC!!!!!!!

ouch, doesnt it throttle at a lower temp than that?

So I promptly told her she had to turn it off and get it vacumed! Not sure what the temp is at now ive attacked it with the hoover, but the CPU fan has stopped running at its max rpm.

Catch you next weekend (if im being good!)

Dan,

Great post and it just shows that computers need to be cleaned on the inside too!

That looks like my little brother's Pentium II PC when I went to clean it out a while back. :)
