Thermaltake TR2 500W

Ok, got to looking at getting a new mobo, well the one I found has a 8 pin cpu connector.

Now my question is will the Thermaltake TR2 500W work with a 4 to 8 pin adaptor and not kill the mobo?

other wise, anyone know a PSU in the 70 range (give or take a few bucks) that would work with the 8 pin set up.

oh, the board is a Foxconn 945GZ7MC-RS2H

I try to avoid adapters at all costs usually it just ends up badly.

so far the only one I can find is this enermax

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817194011

this is 75$ but better than the enermax
