Help me hunt parts

Post by DMB2000uk »

So my main rig is in peices atm, something was up with it so I decided to take it to bits and turn round the radiator fans to suck air out of my case (as infinitevalence suggested when he first saw the pics of my rig! (the rad was getting dusty  )).

But I found that the seal on my radiator's 1/2" barbs doesnt fit properly and there was a very very slight leak, possibly the cause of my random windows corrupt, but a) I dont think so, and b) it best not be :P.

So can anyone tell me where to get these from/start looking for them:

AS568A-112 rubber 'o' rings (Basically 1/2" or 12mm ID).
(It doesnt help that I'm in the UK and thats an American standard!)

But I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get hold of either those, or a swiftech 'spares kit' with some of those in along with some proper swiftch 1/2" barbs to screw fittings (I think the ones I am using atm are G14(??) or some plumbing standard and as such are not tight enough.)

Many Thanks,

Dan

PS. Thought you guys might like to know that I got 60% on a phase test the other day for which subject ive missed the last month or so of lectures and seminar sessions! woo!

Try

http://www.overclock.co.uk/product.php? ... 5&view=rel

http://www.componentsuk.co.uk/catalog/i ... Path=39_52

G14 is the size of the connection on your Rad btw, have you tried a plumbers store or building supplies shop? They should have O-Rings of any size and it should cost next to nothing ~£1 for a pack of ~20 or so.

There's a good UK site for watercooling parts, but can't remember the name :(
I've tried searching via google.co.uk and selecting only uk sites, but nothing.
