Yes, nearly everyone has at least one fan in their case!

It's been a long time since I've seen a round-up review on case fans. I'd love to see a comparo on Panaflo, Delta, Pabst, etc all the fans that everyone raves about. It's been my experience that most of the good ones are loud ones...it just goes with the territory.

Most of the fans that come with cases are poor performers.

My favorite 120MM fans are the Panaflo L1A's, they are very quiet and move a respectable amount air.

Legit Reviews doesn't and won't review fans as we have a waiting list as it is with general computer hardware. While everyone has a fan and reviews of them are important I believe user reviews on them can be done by our readers and discussed on the forums. A few cooling sites have great reviews and round-ups on fans as that is what the do cooling!

If one of our readers wants to gather a bunch of fans together and write something up we'll be more than happy to post it, but with something as subjective as a fan it's hard to write a 'legit' review on one.

Only way you can do a fair comparison is to do what SPCR does and include mp3's of the respective fans from the same distance away each time.

tbh, fans arent something i bothered to research when buying my PC, so why not throw a couple up for comparision.

well it also depends on application. I'm using a rad that only needs low speed yate loons. Anything that pushes more air does no benefit so.

The fans that came with my Aerocool case are the quietest I have ever seen.

I bought some Masscool fans with blue LEDs and 2 of them are louder than my entire Aerocool PC (which has 4 fans!)

As long as it moves lots of air, I don't generally make a fuss about noise unless it's deafening.

I hate most GPU fans. They are really small, loud, cheap, and don't keep the card cool. I prefer large and slow fans as opposed to small and fast.

Now that is something to look into. GPU fans usually die out faster than all others. This field really needs inprovement.

I'd love to have a run through about how airflow in a case should be since I modded up my case I'm not sure I have the best arrangement.
