Guess I'm an AFC sort of guy, so I'll go with the Colts. I'm just hoping for a good game at this point.

I have to go with the Bears because of their defense. The Bears offense is more than sufficient, but that "D" is awesome. I expect the Colts to score, but when it comes down to it the Bears defense should be able to slow the Colts down enough to allow the offense to put up some points.

I'm going to say Colts since their defense is pretty solid (after an extra week off) and the Colts offense got it done against the Ravens who are statistically better than the Bears' defense....

I'll just be happy for either Coach Dungy or Coach Smith to be honest. I hope the comercials are good. :)

My vote goes for Da Bears! Like Apoptosis said Lovie is Da Man!
I still say he should have been the coach of the RAMS instead of Martz!!!
We'd of had at least one more Superbowl win!

Go Lovie!

I dont want to take anything away from Tony Dungy, he deserves a win as much as anyone! Hes been oh so close!

But Da Bears are it!

Oh to be in Miami today.....That'd be a lot better than here in sub freezing temps!

After careful consideration I've decided to change my prediction to the Colts.

Colts 29
Bears 17

I'm going to go a step further and say that Grossman throws two picks, one of which will be returned for a touchdown. Also, that the Colts will out muscle and outplay the Bears completely.... :)

Anyone here as surprised as I am at how the Colts won this game? I would have never thought that they would be more physical than the Bears. I did think and still do that Rex Grossman is a liability to that team and I'm not sure that they can wait for him to develop. Thoughts anyone?

Bears scored a TD in the first 15secs, first time a superbowl kickoff was returned for a TD!

Congrats to both Smith and Dungy...I'm so glad that a guy with a ripped up sweat top wasn't in the stadium on this night.

I enjoyed the Prince half time as well...how appropriate was him singing "Purple Rain"??

Grossman a liability??? Are you kidding??? Actually, he'll be the perfect fit for my Chiefs when Green retires. So instead of the "run, run, pass, punt" offense, you'd have some excitement to throw in there. Will he fumble the snap or won't he?

The guy stinks, but I was still rooting for the Bears. Must be frustrating for the defense to get a take-away just to watch the offense give it right back.
I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong.

agreed... Been a bit since I've seen a superbowl played in weather like that... maybe it wasn't Rex and was really the coating on the ball and the rain...

Yeah, there were plenty of turnovers for both sides - especially in that first half. I have to believe the brand new footballs and, of course, the rain had a lot to do with the fumbles and missed FGs.
