CM HSF have never been easy to install and this one will be the king of that probably and its supposely weights 874g with two fans installed :o

Currently on sale in Japan and it is call the Fujin over there but it finally wil hit the North America shores in March. Speculation has been going around that this cooler doesn't perform as good as it should based on its size.

Most if not all CM HSF are a pain to install and a cooler this massive probably takes 1st place.

I'd personally be afraid of its weight, especially installed in a tower machine.

I guess better make sure you got the top motherboard screws in otherwise you'll end up snapping the board in two? Most of my personal machines from how much I'm constantly working on them, I only secure the board to the case with only two or three screws.

Liquid cooling costs a heck of a lot more, takes up a ton more room, not to mention the time required to install a loop properly............

That is utterly ridiculous. I would agree that a water loop is probably easier to install. I'll stick with my Big Typhoon VX

What would be the advantages of this spread out design over a more conventional tower cooler like the Scythe Ninja or Tuniq Tower? Besides more air flow over your motherboard and RAM. Also having that much weight hanging so far from the socket really does make it dangerous. If you hit the far edge it would act like a lever and put even more strain on the socket. Also it looks like if you wanted to replace your RAM you would have to take the thing off.

Yeah, in the pictures it looks like it has good clearance.
