Make Windows work for You

Post by Gamble »

I was browsing that Books 24x7 website and I found Windows XP Hacks and Tips for Dummies....what a fun book. I have removed those annoying arrows (without the registry), changed my theme (manually, no software needed) and gotten rid of some really pesky crap that Windows used to do to me. Well now I win Microsoft. I would suggest anyone (hence the "for Dummies") to read this book, I'm a third of the way through and I feel like I had never even USED Windows before. Just a little rant, and if you can find it to download/buy, I would spend the time going through it.

I also figured this would be a logical place to start my computer acedemia, after all, everything I write from now on will be part of Windows, so why not start there? I have grasped an idea of what the directory system all MEANS and just how quirky it can be if one messes up. Well I am off to design a twenty minute web page for 5% of my grade in Computer Analysis.....I should have just written an email to the prof telling her to give me the full credit and not waste each others time.

Read it fellas. :) :) :) :) :)
