8800GTX hybrid card afterall!
not only that but its self contained!.........sort of.
ASSBYTE is going to release this beast which features some kind of hybrid water/air cooler for the card and a self contained reservoir, pump, and radiator all in one unit that screws into a PCI bracket.
well it would be interesting fitting two in a case for SLi!

I second that... I run everything on 3/8 cooling lines and I'll hang with 90% of those that claim 1/2 line is better... Take WickedLD9 here on the forums... He has a small fortune in his cooling setup... Since he is too shy to post up pictures of his 'messy' system I will...kenc51 wrote:Nothing wrong with 3/8 cooling loops!!!!!!
He's running a dual 120MM cooled radiator, 1/2 tygon tubing and the Apogee GT, but for some reason my Kentsfield will overclock better than his... hehe
I guess it's user error or the fact that my 3/8 cooling loop owns all -- hehe
But all kidding aside my 3/8 loop does just fine with Kentsfield over 4GHz with lots of voltage, so don't knock it till you try it cause I'm sure it would do decent on an 8800 card.
i use 3/8" tube and it runs great. this pic doesnt show it but i have another 7800gt in the loop. all temps are great and my system is almost silent.

i guess it is nice if you want to deal with something that big. to me it just takes up way too much room and would probally defeat any hope of having a silent computer.
i am still going to be getting a 8800gts 640mb card in the next couple of weeks, i think 320mb just is not going to be cutting the cheese in the next year.
