Troubles picking a motherboard for Core 2 duo
Troubles picking a motherboard for Core 2 duo
Hey I'm new on this forum and after having bad answers from french forums I decided to try the english ones
So forgive me if my level of english isnt as good as what you can see normally but I'll try to be good.
I'm hesitating between 3 mobos wich are
Asus P5B Deluxe : Bundle seems quite interesting but I've read some audio problems, maybe it was on old version and now all is fixed, that I dunno
Gigabyte DS3 (forgot the complete name): Way more affordable than the P5b deluxe. The bundle seems straight and I read good reviews
MSI 965P Platinium: Same thoughts as Gigabyte's one
The price goes that way:
Asus 222$ CAN
Gigabyte 169$ CAN
MSI 173$ CAN
Thanks you

Personnaly I went Asus.
I got myself a Asus Commando.
I do know for a fact that the P5B is a pretty crazy overclocker.
I didnt' try the gigabit one.
I would go for Asus or Gigabit.
MSI used to be good but I don't think much of the now.
The only board I had from MSI was an old board that was supposed to support AGP x8 back in the days and it never actually did :p
If you have the money get yourself a Commando board.
I have my Pentium D 805 2.66Ghz to 4.0Ghz right now.
Very nice board too.
Micron is a chip manifacturer.
They usualy make the memory chips on ram sticks.
D9s are my favorite.
