After hearing this from a former employee of this PC Shop in WI, I'm disgusted... and I'm sure you will. Maybe it's just this one shop of theirs, I don't know. They have numerous stores throughout WI, all independently owned.
This one particular shop has some rotten employees working for them.... oh wait, management. ;)
Say a person comes in with a problem with their PC. The tech's will say, "Oh, sounds like a hard drive problem. We'll call you when it's fixed." So, the problem could possibly be just software related, but NOOO, these guys will go to the extreme. They will unplug the drive and DROP it on the floor!!

A second scenario is involving 2.5" drives. They're fragile little buggers as we all know. These guys will pull them out, turn the computer on, and press as hard as they can on the case so the head scrapes the hell out of the platter. HDD problems anyone?

A third scenario involves upselling. These guys REALLY want to get people into a new computer instead of their 3 year old PC. They want the commission for selling the new PC. So, the person brings in a computer with a problem, they again want a new PC sale, so they'll stick a screw driver in the PCI slot, turn the system on, and fry everything. Oops, multiple problems with this system...

What the hell can even be done with these guys? This is extremely shady business practice and something needs to be done about them. One thing that is holding this former employee off from spilling the beans, is he's good friends with someone that works there who bought a new house some time ago.
