Election Advice

U.S. gets election advice from outsiders
The observers already have found problems typical in countries with far less than 200 years of voting experience.
This is kind of interesting. Personally, I think that it is somewhat necessary. The observers brought up some good points. It never hurts to get an outsider's opinion.[/url]

I'm glad to see this monitoring request get more public attention.
something is broken in our system and this might be the first step towards fixing it.
It's hard to fathom the idea that we ("world's greatest democracy") can push for fair elections elsewhere, but fail to comply with the same standards at home
To me this is a major crediblity gap.
certainly from 2000 on we have seen an increase in partisan tampering of voting systems which should be 'color-blind' (ie No influence either way)
It would seem there is no way for anything else to be fair, if the election process is or appears to be tainted in any way.
