The Cool is more upgradable as everything is is not in a prebuilt enclosure. It all depends on if you are looking for ease of use or performance and the ability to upgrade.
You might also want to take a look at Swiftechs kits, their CPU blocks are some of the better performing blocks out there and they are priced inline with most other quality kits.
is ^^ that one any good? btw im in canada so no newegg . im just looking for a kit that i can bring home open and cool my vid card cpu n north/south bridge with, n that looks perfect. only problem is i dont know how it performs :O
If all you're looking to do is build a silent system, then the Zalman will work just fine in most cases, unless you have a extreme top end system.
The unit wasn't designed to handle any sort of OC'ing and will heat up rapidly...............
no, noise isnt really why i want water cooling, i want water cooling so i can oc more, i would love to have a complete water cooled pc oced 2 the max. cuz right now i have e6300 oced to 2.7ghz and it wont go any further.(cuz i tightened timings instead of gettin another 200mhz out of cpu)(+mch voltage just refuses to work @1.85) i want a kit that will lower my temps alot and the silent aspect of it is just an added bonus :D i wouldnt mind a loud kit if it was very good at cooling. i need a kit that i could install :D and btw this would be my first kit. and say i were to get the corsair cool, how would i go about adding vga,north/south bridge,hd, and possibly ram add ons? and would it be able to handle it
