Im wanting to know if the power supply in my new system is big enough to power a 8800 gtx. I have found calculators that give me different answers and Im having trouble getting any real numbers. The powers supply is a 500w seasonic m12 that I originally bought for a htpc project but it wouldnt fit in the case so I used it for my main computer. the rest of the computer is as follows:
motherboard: D975XBX2
processor: core 2 duo E6600
memory: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
hd: western digital 250gb
video card: 6800 (to be replaced obviously)
is a 500 watt power supply big enough for a 8800 gtx?

Im already using the 500w in my computer. I know a larger psu would be better but this is what I have. Will it be enough for the 8800 gtx? I dont plan on going with a dual setup as there are only hacked sli drivers for my motherboard and if in the future I do go that direction I will buy a new psu or add a second one.

PS
That should work, but you didnt say if you were going to be overclocking.
Its a very dependable PS and they actually make the Corsair PSU's
