Post by stopthekilling77 »

i've tried installing it on 2 computers now, and it LOOKS like its going to work, but ultimately just doesn't do anything....

i dunno what i'm doing wrong, and it'd be nice to get that up and running cause i hear its more "slow(er) computer-friendly"

that screen shows it working. from what I can tell it just shows the progress you completed 5000 steps out of 50000 by that point which puts you at 10% done.

only thing is, i went to sleep, came back, and it showed zero progress. i'd be assuming here, but wouldn't it show the steps?

hmm odd if it isn't progressing then I don't know.
I usually set it as a service and just check it via FahMon or use graphical version on my main computer. Someone else might know.

I agree with dgood, it looks like it is chugging away, to rule it out, your not an insomniac or polyphasic sleeper right? :P

Again, just check with fahmon to see if it is doing anything.

By the way, just how slow of a computer are you running this on? It can take 24hours+ on a 2.8Ghz machine on some WU's so relative performance scale it from there....
