I like the monstrous Links thread

Post by Boomerwang »

Yeah I just figured that would be better than naming this thread "Hi" like the thousands of other threads... <3

About me? Hmmmm... Im' about to graduate this May with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering... whereas most of my classmates have found work already, I'm gonna go to grad school this fall for a Masters program in hydraulics. Mmm yum. ?

I enjoy (of course computers) sports, foreign languages, martial arts, music, blah blah blah ;), but most of all I enjoy drawing. Guess I'll be joining deviantart soon or something, got some friends on there already heh.

Found this site while looking for motherboard reviews. Got some ideas brewing for this summer. Computer-wise I'd say I'm so-so - I know enough from just surfing the Net and from computer-savvy friends, but I'm not that hardcore.

Anyways, I'm done, yay. Hello to everyone.

ack civil engineering, I went the mechanical route. I hated every minute of the piping and structures.

one of these days I get back in the classroom and finish the higher degrees LOL

Welcome to the forums, Oh, the thing about hydraulics you want to remember is that if it gets on your shoes.... just pitch'em and get a new pair, doesn't come out for nothing.

Thanks all. Haha, I "got suckered" into doing civil because my university doesn't offer architecture and apparently I was told it was as close to arch as I could get. But I don't mind it too much... actually it seems like it's not as intense as electrical or mechanical but I wouldn't know. :P

I just sketch with pencil/pen sometimes marker, doodles and whatnot. I wish I had photoshop skills but don't. We'll see what I can figure out this summer. I made a deviantart account and so far I have one (count 'em, one!) picture up. So feel free to browse that:

Hoping to add some more stuff soon. the sheer volume of talent on deviantart both encourages and intimidates me. :-#
