For a little idea about the frosty one. Here awhile back, because of the cost of electricity, he got fed up with the small point CPU work units and shut down what I gather was the majority of his folding units and decided to concentrate on his SMP rigs. At this time he is still putting out about 10,000 points per day.

He is a great addition to our little team. I have been awed the way the team has been performing and his input can only help us in our drive upward. :prayer:

Paul
Another kinda cool thing is how he powers his rigs.

If memory serves me correctly (tough in my old age) he has installed a solar power system to keep the old power bills at bay.

I haven't found an extension cord long enough to reach across country so I can tap into his grid yet but I'm still searching

I doubt anybody in their right mind would want to take you on. I am very suprised that you are even considering leaving the old team.

Shad does....and he has been out producing me lately, so it should be a good race.

As far as leaving the old team. I just needed a change.

I can get up to 12,000 PPD. If I turn VMware on all my Winder rigs, and nobody messes with them. But Shad's right I run around 9500 when nobody's chasing me. I have 19 systems total, mostly dual core, 2 quads. :)

I have a measly 5 rigs but I keep em in line for the most part 1 runs OSX 4 Linux and 1 Linux under VMware on windows.

I left 1 rig a 3000+ stock speed with windows behind with the other team

That just amazes me how you guy's overclock your rigs, and sqeeze so many points out of them. I just don't have the patience for it. I have to buy 2 rigs for every one of yours.
