SMP taking a long time

Running the windows smp on E6600 machines and after the first fold they are now only finishing about 1% per hour!!!
WTF? They all pretty much seem to get the Gromacs 2610

Pardon the opinion but...

I'd install vmware then run Linux under that with the Linux SMP Client.

That's what I do on my main family pc and it's a lot more stable and consistant, it also yields better ppd for what that's worth.

I ran 1 wu through on the Windows SMP Client and that was enough for me.

but if i do that some of the engineers that will be getting the systems might get a little upset :lol:

i am going to try that when i get my own system built!

OK, did a reinstall on one system,now projected to 20 hours for the 2651 @ 1459 PPD
