Hello Again

Well a friend of mine has asked me/us to come up with a cpu he can use for strickly media.

1. can watch and record from TV
2. When watching dvd's from CPU to TV it is as clear as if it were a stand alone dvd player.
2. All MP3 Storage on this system
3. Requires that it connect to the stereo
4. 2gig ram
5. Fast enough CPU to cause no stuttering, does not need to be dual core, just the best for this application.

Basically this is just the system. No Monitor, No Keyboard, and what not.

He wants to stay around $1,000

What ya all got for me idea wise?
