Computer backup solution?? Software dillema

Post by Kingtal0n »

I own two computers, I want to buy an external USB hard drive and image/copy the entire hard drives from my computers onto this one big external drive.

I Want to be able to copy over the entire thing, including software and all my misc. crap.

What software do you recommend for this? And will I have to partition my external for 2 images 1 for each computer I am backing up?

My computers have 120GB and 80GB drives, So i was gonna get a 250gb external.

I use Acronis TrueImage Workstation. Best harddrive imaging software I've found to date.

It will image ANY OS I've ever ran here (NT4, 2000, XP, XPx64, Server 2003, and Linux).
