dont look good

you know my setup...

I finally got my memory, now i had everything plugged in, and switched the PSU in the back, the green led on the mobo turned on, the i pressed the switch in, and nothing happened, i have power(the led works) but nothing turns on, no fans, i tried unplugging all unnecessary items, cd&dvd&floppy& extra USBs, but she just sits there, is it ok to jump the switch for a second?(unplug switch wires and put a screwdriver touching pos and neg. switch input on mobo)

Check to make sure all power connectors are plugged into your motherboard.

Jump which switch? Do you mean thejumper to clear the CMOS?

theres only one, a 20 pin(no other 4 pin), and where the power switch wires go into the board, connect momentarily

I would suggest you take your motherboard out of your case as something could be shorted.

i just took it out, took everything off it, and periodically touched a grounded circut breaker box with my hand and all of the parts, and tried a different graphics card(in case AGP is fried), still nothing

or did you mean take the board out, and leave it out with the parts attached to try it?

Remove the motherboard from it's mounting plane and the PSU. Connect them on the work bench. You can leave the motherboard on it's box or some other non conductive material. Install whatever GPU you like. You can short the power pins with a screwdriver IF you know what you're doing. Simply touch both pins with the tip of a regular screwdriver to TEMPORARIALLY short them. This should trip the ATX sending circuit and cause the PSU to spin up.

after i jump it once, it does it automatically when i flip the switch on the psu, and no bios comes up at all

Take the board out of the case with the parts still installed.

Actually I don't know your setup...

But anyways. I would try hooking up PSU, MB, CPU... and that's it. No video card or memory. The CPU fan should spin.

You did try jumping the mobo while the psu was on, right?

Also to check your PSU separately to your mobo, use a paperclip on a green and black on the 20/24pin bit (I think, wait till someone confirms) then turn it on and if the fans spin up then its good. Dont let it be on for more than a couple of seconds as its bad to run unloaded PSU's.

my whole setup is in my sig

when i jump it, everything turns on (CPU, Chipset, PSU, video card, and case fans, and the Harddrive spins)but nothing comes up on the monitor

You 100% certain that there isn't a 4pin 12v CPU connector that you didnt plug in yet?

Forgot that on a build with a mate once, didn't figure out what was wrong for ages!

Next obvious thing to do is to reset the CMOS, it might be trying to run the wrong settings on the new memory.

I actually have that same motherboard in one of my boxes... it does have a 4-pin plug, but not like ya'll are thinking. Right over the AGP slot theres a 4-pin molex just like what would go into an IDE device.

i think its for extra juice in case your mobo needs it. but you should be able to take it out of the case, reset the cmos, and only have minimum to post installed on the mobo. resetting the your bios is the key (i hope...)

Not such a stupid suggestion, but have you pressed or turned on the monitor? You should get some type of led that lights up with the PC is booting.

And are you getting any BIOS "beeps" ?

i would imagine it could be difficult to locate another mobo with that same old socket, but if you did find one they should be pretty cheap...

one beep every second or two, doesn't stop

also, on the monitor, it flashes btween :"DPMS standby mode" and "no signal"("no signal" or something like that-cant remember)

This was taken from the manual for the board:

The system power-up, no video, beeping heard.
1. Clear CMOS battery. (JP5 connector, see this manual for more info
on how to clear the CMOS).
2. Check all the jumper settings on the M/B.
3. Check if the memory module and the VGA card are inserted
properly in the M/B.
4. If yes, change the memory module, it might be defective. Make
sure the memory specification is supported by the M/B. (for more
info on this, check our FAQ on the website).
5. Change the VGA card.
The system turns on for some seconds then shutdown by itself.
1. Check if the CPU fan is connected to the CPUFAN1 connector.
2. The CPU might be overheating. Check the CPU fan if it is
defective, also see if the CPU fan is in contact with the CPU.
3. Clear CMOS battery. (JP5 connector, see this manual for more info
on how to clear the CMOS).
4. Make sure the power supply you have on your system support the
M/B specification. Example. If you have a P4 M/B, you need to use
a P4 power supply.
5. If you already checked the power supply specification, change the
power supply it might be defective. The minimum is 350 watts
AMD approved.
When I boot up my system, everything works fine, it sees my CPU and
memory, detects my hard drive, floppy drive and CD-ROM but locks
up at "Verify DMI pool data... ". If doesnâ€™t boot go any further. What
should I do?
1. Clear CMOS battery. (JP5 connector, see this manual for more info
on how to clear the CMOS).
2. If still has the problem, remove all other add-on cards except video
card see if it boots further. Then put peripherals in one by one to
identify which one of them causes the lockup.
3. Change the CPU.

During Boot-up, my computer says CMOS memory Checksum error.
What can be the problem?
1. Clear CMOS memory.
2. Re-flash BIOS. Check on how to flash BIOS on the later part of
this manual.
3. Change the CMOS battery, the battery might be drained.
4. The BIOS chip might be failing.
I hear a 1-2 beeping sound and then the system shut down, what is the
problem?
Verify that the CPU fan is connected to the CPUFAN1 connector.
