Need Help Setting Up Two HD's

I just added a second HD and set it as "SLAVE". Booted up my computer and Windows found it, but when I went to "My Computer" it did not show up there. Have I done something wrong? Please advise.

Have you formatted and partitioned the drive?
If not thats your problem!

Most Hard Drive companies have a little utility to assist you to format the drive. Check the manufacturer's website. It will probably be under "Support".

I hope i am not repeating anything you have but hope it help:
1) Right Click "My Computer"
2) Select "Manage:
3) Select "Disk Management"
4) If your drive is connected properly then it should appear in lower section
5) Select it and Right Click on it.
6) Format or create partition

I had a case of the stupids and forgot to format it before posting a thread. Thanks to all that responded!

One of my friends ran into the same problem a little while ago. The only way he knew how to format a hard drive was with a win 98 boot disc.
